I just don’t get it… I don’t understand!
The purpose, the meaning of creation of man, what’s my reason for breathin’ even bein’ on this land?
Is it to only meet all of life’s demands?! And man
lately?! I feel so confused! It’s like I lost sight, of the breakthrough, I escape in the booth! I tend to debate with the Truth, I try to hide from Your eyes, I create my own roof! I try to tell my crew but they just can’t grasp,
my emotions and how I’m cloaked in a mask…
I don’t want my future, created by my past,
There’s SO MUCH trash, I can’t help but ask!


What is the meaning of my life?!
Is it to only do things that I like?!
And what is the meaning of me being here?!
I don’t quite know, I need to see it clear!
And what is the purpose of my breath?!
Is it to take every step just flirtin’ with death?!
What is the reason I exist?! Is it to
achieve every dream that I have wished?!

Verse 2:

So much inquisition, thoughts I’ve pondered...
The meaning of life, my mind begins to wander…
Wonder, a bunch of doubts that I have conjured
under the surface, I’ve created a monster!
I thought I was a Christian, how could I fall?!
"Walkin’ all tall" when my back’s against the wall!
My nephew looks up to me and I dropped the ball...
And lately I don’t feel like a Christian AT ALL but MAN! There’s gotta be somethin’ else, ‘cause at
this point I am so disgusted with myself, so much stress, I thought the marijuana would help!? But in the end, I fell, and this is how I felt… like Michael Phelps did, I disappointed all my peers... My parents, my fans, my pastors, my leaders! I’m filled with fear! I need a listening ear, I’m on my knees, DESPERATE FOR SOMEONE TO HEAR ME!


What is the meaning of my life?!

Now I reach my peak of fear I feel weak!
I need a piece of God’s peace it’s out of reach!
Bleak, I breathe meaningless speech, bittersweet,
feel the heat of sin how it creeps! I teach, speak... but often don’t live it! A fugitive imprisoned in the world that I live in... You must be kiddin’ AGAIN I’m sinnin’ trippin’, spittin’ in God’s face live a scandal like Nixon!
BUT THEN! God showed me I’m forgiven
He told me there’s so much more to my mission
than being restricted, to affliction! No longer
submittin’ to the opposition. Conviction’s a beast!
But it’s something I need... His love still shines and
God gave me peace! Words can’t describe how much
it meant to me to be forgiven and in Christ find my identity ‘CAUSE!


NOW I KNOW THE MEANING OF MY LIFE!
AND IT’S TO BE TRANSFORMED INTO CHRIST!
AND NOW I KNOW THE MEANING OF ME BEING HERE!
NO LONGER VISION BLURRED, NOW I SEE IT CLEAR!
NOW I KNOW THE PURPOSE OF MY BREATH!
TO EVERYDAY PUT MY FLESH TO REST!
AND NOW I KNOW THE REASON I EXIST AND IT’S
TO BECOME LIKE CHRIST IN LIFE AND NEVER QUIT!
